Grassy Lake State Wildlife Management Area
A low-lying wetland of cypress knees, marsh grass and open water offering reflections, migratory waterfowl and wading birds. Best at dawn and dusk for mist, warm light and active birds; fall–winter brings ducks and clearer air. Access is rustic — expect gravel or dirt roads, minimal facilities and a small parking area; check WMA rules (hunting seasons, permits) before visiting.
