Forrestdale Lake

Forrestdale Lake is a seasonal Ramsar-listed wetland in Beeliar Regional Park — great for birdlife, mirrored water reflections, reed silhouettes and wide flat landscapes after rain. Best at dawn and dusk for soft light, colour and active birds; late winter–spring brings higher water and migratory species. Easily reached by car with small picnic carparks and boardwalks; no entry fee. Paths can be muddy—wear boots. Respect wildlife and keep distance during breeding season.
