Woodland scenes dominated by tall Blackbutt gum trees, winding walking tracks, shaded glades and pockets of understorey—excellent for intimate forest compositions and native wildlife (parrots, lorikeets, kookaburras, kangaroos at dawn). Visit at golden hour or early morning for soft side light and active birds; after rain for saturated colours and fungi. North Entrance has a small car park and picnic area; no entry fee.
