Purple Woods Conservation Area
A mixed hardwood forest and wetland with winding trails, boardwalks and seasonal wildflowers — excellent for intimate woodland scenes, reflections in marsh channels, and fall colour. Best at spring (wildflowers) and autumn (foliage); golden hour and misty mornings add atmosphere. Small parking lot at the Coates Rd entrance; trails are mostly flat but can be muddy after rain. No special permits for casual photography; respect wildlife and stay on marked trails.
