A large wetland of marshes, ponds and trails ideal for bird and nature photography — great for migrant songbirds, waterfowl, herons and seasonal loon/reflection shots. Best at sunrise and late afternoon for warm sidelighting and reflections; spring and fall migration bring the most bird activity. Several trails and boardwalks provide low viewpoints; parking and trailheads are at main access roads (may be unpaved). Expect mosquitoes in summer and muddy sections after rain; bring insect repellent.
