Small, wooded riparian preserve along Decker Creek offering creek reflections, riffles, beaver activity, migrating songbirds and seasonal color. Photograph intimate waterscapes, forest details, birdlife and ice/snow scenes. Best at dawn or dusk for soft light and active wildlife; spring migration and fall foliage are prime. Access via Pine Ln with small parking areas and footpaths; no fees but follow WVDNR rules and stay on marked trails. Expect muddy trails and insects in warm months.
