Best in azalea bloom (Mar–Apr) and at golden hours for warm side-light on the ravines. County/state park fee and parking at the visitor area; some trails and overlooks have steps and boardwalks—bring sturdy shoes. Weekday mornings or after light rain yield saturated colors and fewer visitors. Drones are generally prohibited in state parks.
