Small but diverse park with mixed hardwood forest, marshes, boardwalks and broad Acton Lake shoreline — strong for reflections, fall color, intimate woodland scenes and birdlife. Best at golden hour or blue hour for lake reflections; autumn and after rain are especially photogenic. Trails are well-marked; parking available at the Nature Center and nearby lots. Check park hours and seasonal program closures. Weekday mornings are least crowded.
