I spent 3 days on the Cassowary coast searching for the southern Cassowary. When I finally spotted three just walking on the side of the road as I drove past. I luckily had my camera ready and managed to snap this one. I knew they were big, but nothing prepares you for their size. The striking blue of the neck, clashing with the red, and the huge plumage of black feathers
