Rue mo3eez

Al-Muizz (Rue Mo3eez) is Cairo’s medieval spine — a flaneur’s dream of ornate Mamluk facades, carved wooden mashrabiyas, stone domes, and narrow alleys. Shoot grand street perspectives, doorways, lantern-lit evenings and decorative details. Best at golden hour and blue hour for warm stone tones and glowing lamps; early weekdays are quieter. Street is largely pedestrianized; park at nearby squares and walk in. Dress respectfully; some interiors require modest attire or a small fee.
