Scenic ridge-top drive through the Ouachita Mountains with sweeping overlooks, dense hardwood forest and dramatic fall color. Photograph panoramic vistas, layered ridgelines at sunrise/sunset, and intimate autumn foliage. Best visited in October–November for foliage, or early morning for clear light and low clouds. Road is narrow and winding with frequent paved pullouts and small parking areas; no entry fee. Weekdays and early hours avoid crowds. Respect tribal lands and local signage.
