Von Ormy City Park
Score3.5Small-town community park with open lawns, mature live oaks and native scrub—good for environmental portraits, simple landscape frames, and intimate nature studies. Easy roadside parking and no entry fee; accessible paths and picnic areas. Visit at golden hour for warm side-light on trees and long shadows; weekday mornings minimize families and dog-walkers. Summer afternoons are harsh—late winter/spring offers bloom and softer light.
