Small but photogenic wetland reserve with ponds, reedbeds, boardwalks and hides ideal for bird, macro and waterscape photography. Visit spring–summer for warblers, dragonflies and breeding waterfowl; autumn for migrating birds and dramatic skies; winter for ducks and reflections. Best light is early morning and golden hour. The reserve has a nearby car park and marked paths; some boardwalks and hides give close viewpoints but expect uneven ground and occasional muddy sections. No formal entryfee
