Near Clinton on Puget Sound, Possession Point is a shore-access dive/snorkel site with rocky reefs, kelp forests and abundant intertidal and subtidal life—great for wide-angle underwater scenes, macro shots of nudibranchs and behavior of rockfish and crabs. Best visited summer–early fall for calmer seas and improved visibility; plan around slack tide and morning hours for glassy water. Cold-water diving requires wetsuit/drysuit and strobes; small parking near the park and shore entry only—no fee
