Best at sunrise for warm light on peaks or early mornings for sea-of-clouds; late afternoons also yield dramatic skies. Accessible from Km 18 on the Vía al Nevado del Tolima (unpaved sections—check vehicle clearance). Small parking area; respect local farms and dress for wind and cold.
