Tie City Trailhead is the gateway to alpine forests, meadows, creeks and ridgeline views above Laramie — excellent for wide landscape panoramas, seasonal wildflowers and fall color. Best at golden hour or early morning for low-angle light and mist over streams. Road and small parking area on Forest Rd 723; no permit for day use on USFS land. Summer offers wildflowers, fall (Sep–Oct) yields aspens; winters are snowy and require snowshoes or skis.
