Sea cave carved into the limestone cliffs of Polignano a Mare — dramatic openings, turquoise water and textured rock make strong compositions both from the cliff-top viewpoints and from inside the cave by boat. Best light is at sunrise and golden hour when warm side-light sculpts the cave mouth; calm, low-tide seas improve reflections and allow closer boat approaches. Access is easiest from Polignano town (walk from central parking), or by small boat tours; interior shooting may require a boat.
