A broad cattail marsh and seasonal wetland favored by migratory waterfowl and shorebirds. Shoot wide reflective vistas at sunrise or sunset, intimate bird and insect portraits in spring/fall migration, and abstract frozen patterns in winter. Trails and small pull-offs provide access but expect muddy ground; no entrance fee but follow WMA rules. Best light: golden hour for reflections and low-angle side light for texture.
