A small wetland preserve with boardwalks, marsh channels, cattails and forest edges — excellent for reflecting water scenes, migratory and resident birds, close-up plant & insect shots, and moody misty mornings. Best at sunrise or early morning (fog and active birds) and during spring/fall migration; golden hour adds warm tones to reeds. Trails and a raised boardwalk make most areas accessible on foot; free parking at the trailhead on S Maple St. No permit usually required for casual photography
