Inuyama Castle

Inuyama Castle is one of Japan’s oldest original wooden keeps and a National Treasure—photograph its steep multi-tiered tenshu (keep), stone base and seasonal framing from the Kiso River. Best at sunrise or golden hour for warm light and reflections in the moat; cherry blossoms (late March–early April) and autumn leaves (nov) add drama. Accessible: ~10–15 min walk from Inuyama Station. Small entry fee to climb the narrow interior; stairs are steep and not suitable for mobility aids. Limited paid
