Levada do Moinho is a classic Madeiran levada walk with narrow water channels, mossy walls, old watermill ruins and small waterfalls framed by laurel forest and terraced hills. Photographers find intimate close-ups of flowing water, long exposures on cascades, tunnel light shafts and occasional sea glimpses toward Ponta do Sol. Best at golden hour or after light rain for saturated greens and increased flow. Trail is mostly easy–moderate, narrow and sometimes slippery; no entry fee. Park in Ponta
