Low, intimate scenes with mountain backdrop make strong compositions. Visit at dawn or dusk for golden hour, mist and active birds; late spring and fall migrations are best. Access is roadside with modest parking; trails are informal, bring waterproof boots. Be mindful of WMA rules and seasonal hunting; keep distance from wildlife.
