Floating boardwalk over Lake Weatherford’s wetlands — great for water reflections, lotus/lily pads in spring, long leading lines and low-angle shots. Easy, flat 1.5-mile route with parking at the south trailhead and benches along the way. Best at sunrise/early morning (spring–early summer) for blooms, calm water and fewer people; summer mornings are hot. Boardwalk is modular/plastic and slightly uneven in spots; expect mosquitoes after rains.
