Auburn Environmental Park

Small protected wetland with a 1,200 ft raised boardwalk and an elevated lookout tower — ideal for birding, marsh reflections, textures of reeds and interpretive signs. Best at sunrise and golden hour for warm side light and mist; overcast days tame contrast for wildlife. Accessible via small stone parking lot (≈6 cars) at either end; no restrooms, no dogs allowed, boardwalk is flat but can be muddy at approaches. Bring bug spray in summer and plan weekday mornings for solitude.
