Woodard Bay offers a mix of tidal flats, calm water reflections, weathered pilings and a long boardwalk through marsh and forest—excellent for birdlife, seals and minimalist compositions. Visit at golden hour or in low tide for exposed mud patterns and strong reflections; winter and migration seasons bring waterfowl concentrations. The easy boardwalk is largely flat and family/wheelchair-friendly; no entrance fee but parking is limited (park at the small lot off Mud Bay Road or nearby pullouts).
