Heart Lake Floating Model Boat Display
Score3.8A quirky local attraction: a small lake with floating model boats set against King Cove’s tundra and distant volcanic ridges. Shoot reflective water compositions, close-ups of colorful models, and wide views that include nearby shorelines and moody Aleutian skies. Best visited in summer for road access and long daylight; golden hour or overcast conditions give rich color and even light. Park nearby on Ram’s Creek Rd; expect basic, exposed conditions—bring windproof clothing and waterproof gear.
